Tim Shercliff

Tim is an energetic senior business executive with significant experience in business strategy, general management, sales, marketing and complex programme management gained primarily in the information technology, professional service and social enterprise sector. Tim is currently involved in a portfolio of activities involving strategy consulting and facilitation, coaching, two social enterprises and an artisan bakery. Tim is a Director of Make it Macclesfield Community Interest Company and Chairman of Enterprising Macclesfield.

 


 Experience:

   BM Executive with multiple assignments covering P&L management of £100M services businesses; strategy and marketing director for business with £2,500M turnover/17,000 staff; executive responsibility for mergers and acquisitions (including UK integration of PriceWaterhouseCoopers 3,000 UK staff)

  Member of or strategy/change management advisor to 8 different executive teams in FTSE 250 (or equivalent) organisations between 1995 and 2015

  Founded and ran own business, Focus2xl Ltd, between 2005-2015, a strategy execution and complex change management consulting business, completing more than 70 engagements with a team of 15 associates, producing tangible and sustainable results: e.g. improved growth and profitability; company turnarounds and M&A; and as QA Partner for the successful implementation of one of the largest commercial IT projects in Europe, as advisor to the Nationwide Building Society Board.

   Entrepreneur with experience of founding and managing 3 social enterprises gained over a 15 year period
